Junior/Intermediate Commercial Underwriter

Wellcare Insurance Corporation is a fast-growing full-service insurance brokerage seeking a detail-oriented Junior or Intermediate Commercial Underwriter to join our Underwriting department. You will evaluate and assess risks of commercial insurance applications, ensuring clients are provided with fair and accurate coverage options. You will perform a full range of policy underwriting functions related to Commercial Property, Liability, and Commercial Auto Insurance.

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in commercial underwriting • Strong knowledge of all types of commercial insurance • RIBO License preferred • Power Broker experience required • Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Strong analysis skills with attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to work independently and in a team setting • Clear criminal record must be provided
