Markville Mall and Markham's Plazas: Where the City Shops (2026)

Ask where Markham shops and you get two answers: the mall, and everywhere else. This guide covers both honestly — including what we will not pretend to know.

CF Markville, without the guesswork

CF Markville is Markham's enclosed regional shopping centre, and its tenant mix changes often enough that any article listing "what's new inside" goes stale in months — so we will not print one. The current store list and hours live on the mall's official Cadillac Fairview page, and our own CF Markville plaza page tracks the businesses there that have joined the directory.

The plazas are the real engine

Markham's daily shopping and services run through its plazas, and that is where our data is strongest — the directory maps 14 plazas, holding over 300 businesses at these six alone:

  • Liberty Square — 67 listings, the directory's deepest: 8 medical clinics, 8 restaurants, 7 spas, 5 law offices, plus dentists, insurance, and fitness. A services plaza more than a shopping one.
  • Metro Square — 54 listings, led by 17 restaurants and 5 physiotherapy clinics, with cafés and bakeries behind them.
  • Unionville Main Street — 53 listings along the historic street: 19 restaurants, 4 bakeries, 4 dentists, and the shops between them.
  • First Markham Place — 32 listings, anchored by 14 restaurants and 4 dessert shops.
  • Times Square — 32 listings, 13 of them restaurants.
  • Pacific Mall — 15 listings so far, 8 of them restaurants; the indoor-mall counterpoint to CF Markville, and a shelf we are still filling out.

How to actually use this

Each plaza page lists every business we hold at that address with its rating, hours, and contact details — so "what's at Metro Square?" has a live answer rather than a two-year-old blog list. Start at a plaza page, or search the full directory by category.

Run a business in one of these plazas that is not listed yet? Add it — plaza pages are exactly where neighbours look first.

Data verification: every business named in this article is a record in the MarkhamBusiness.com directory, and every number is computed from those records as of August 20, 2026. Details change — each linked page carries the current record. Run a business that belongs here? Claim or add your listing.
