Added August 10: Herbs Meta, a Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture clinic in Richmond Hill offering acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and gua sha alongside herbal prescriptions.
Nine business associations join the directory
The biggest addition of the month is a new shelf entirely: on August 17 the directory gained nine chambers, boards, and business improvement areas — the organisations that sit behind Markham's business community.
- Markham Board of Trade — the city's chamber of commerce, representing over 700 member businesses.
- Richmond Hill Board of Trade — serving Richmond Hill businesses since 1988.
- Unionville BIA — the Business Improvement Area for Main Street Unionville.
- Markham Village BIA — representing roughly 165 members on historic Main Street Markham.
- Canadian Tamils' Chamber of Commerce — fostering Tamil-community entrepreneurship since 1991.
- Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham — whose divisions include the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Markham.
- Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce (Canada) — a platform for Canadian Hongkonger entrepreneurs in the GTA.
- Canada-China Realty Professional Association — founded in 2006 by Chinese Canadian real estate professionals.
- Canadian Security Association (CANASA) — the national electronic-security trade association, headquartered in Markham.

The for-sale board filled up

The jobs board currently holds 75 active local postings, sourced with salary and location detail where employers publish them.
